Q. Why was Pottery used as the art medium for each of your projects?
A. Throughout history archaeologists have used pottery as a basis for dating the civilization and culture of the discovered site. Pottery had a utilitarian use and represented a prized possession used in everyday life. The face of the pottery was like a canvas in which the potters used to express themselves. Therefore the motifs represented the events of the day usually depicting politics, religion, the environment, and the day-to-day life of the time period.
